What is the difference between Minis and skatepark sessions?

Minis sessions are for younger kids ages 4–6 and take place on flat surfaces to build balance, movement, and confidence safely. Skatepark sessions are for ages 7+ and focus on progression, control, and skill-building in the skatepark.

What equipment is required?

Rollerblades are required. A helmet is required. Knee and elbow pads are required for every session. Bring a water bottle too.

KidMotion Malta currently runs sessions in Birżebbuġa, Sliema, and Msida.

What is the current weekly schedule?

Birżebbuġa: Friday skatepark sessions at 5–6pm and 6–7pm, plus Saturday Minis at 4–5pm and skatepark sessions at 5–6pm and 6–7pm. Sliema: Sunday Minis at 10–11am. Msida: Sunday skatepark sessions at 4–5pm and 5–6pm, plus Monday skatepark at 4–5pm.

How many kids are in a group?

Groups are limited to 5 kids maximum so each child gets more coaching time, more attention, and less waiting during the session.

Do you offer a trial session?

Yes. You can start with a trial session for €10.

What packs are available?

Current packs are: Trial Session €10, 4-Session Pack €49, and 8-Session Pack €89.

What is the coaching style?

We use a play-first coaching style because kids learn faster when it feels like games, missions, or challenges rather than pressure. Safety and confidence come first, then skills and progression.

How does the 15-level system work?

Training follows a clear 15-level pathway from first steps to advanced skills. Kids move up when they are ready, and after each level they earn a certificate and a small rollerblade keychain reward.

Can my child stay for 2 hours?

Some older kids can book one session or stay for two consecutive hours depending on age, level, and coach approval.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If conditions are unsafe, such as heavy rain or very slippery surfaces, the session will be rescheduled. Updates are confirmed by WhatsApp when needed.
