About KidMotion Malta

KidMotion Malta offers kids rollerblading coaching in Malta with a deeper goal than sport. Rollerblading is our tool — confidence is the real goal. When kids feel proud and capable on their skates, that confidence shows up in everyday life: at home, at school, and in the way they carry themselves.

Two clear paths by age

We offer Minis flat-surface sessions for ages 4–6 and skatepark sessions for ages 7+. Younger kids start with balance, movement, and confidence on flat ground. Older kids progress in the skatepark with more freedom, control, and skill-building.

This keeps the experience safer, clearer, and more adapted to each age group.

Coaching that adapts to your child

Every child learns differently — and I coach differently for each child. Some kids love a mission. Some learn best through a game. Others want a challenge. The goal is always the same: keep it fun, keep it safe, and help kids improve fast without pressure.

Play-first doesn’t mean no structure. It means kids learn while they’re enjoying the ride.

What makes KidMotion different

I’m there for the kids — not for my own ride. I never skate during sessions because I want to coach properly: watch technique, correct habits early, and support kids emotionally. My strength is reading kids — I can feel when they’re nervous, distracted, or ready to level up.

Friendly, patient coaching helps kids feel safe enough to try.

Hands-on safety: I hold them, then let go

Safety is built into the way we coach. For beginners and nervous kids, I can hold them while they ride so they build confidence little by little. Step by step, I hold less and less — until they realize they don’t need to be held anymore.

Required gear for every session: helmet and knee & elbow pads.

Small groups, better attention

We keep groups small so each child gets real attention: more coaching time, more corrections, and faster confidence-building. Small groups also make sessions calmer, safer, and more enjoyable for kids and parents.

15 levels + certificates + keychain reward

Kids follow a clear pathway from Level 1 (first steps) to Level 15 (advanced skills). After each level, kids earn a certificate and a small rollerblade keychain reward — a fun way to celebrate progress and keep motivation high.

Levels cover control, safe stopping, balance, turning, speed management, and advanced progressions.

Where we skate in Malta

KidMotion Malta now runs sessions in Birżebbuġa, Sliema, and Msida. Birżebbuġa and Msida are used for skatepark sessions, while Sliema is used for a younger flat-surface Minis session.

Confidence that goes beyond skating

The real goal is not just better skating. It is helping kids feel more capable, more brave, and more proud of themselves. When that confidence grows on skates, it often shows up outside the session too — at school, at home, and in everyday life.
