Why parents choose us

Rollerblading is the tool. Confidence is the real goal.

When kids feel proud and capable on their skates, that confidence shows up at home, at school, and in everyday life. Every session is built to help kids feel brave, safe, and successful — not pressured.

I never skate during sessions. I'm there to watch, coach, and — for nervous beginners — literally hold them while they ride. Then little by little, I hold less, until they realize they can do it on their own.

How a session works

A clear, fun, confidence-building routine

Every session follows the same shape — kids know what to expect, parents know what they're getting.

1

Warm-up

Loosen up, get the legs moving, build excitement. Pads on (and a helmet if you brought one) before we step on skates.

2

Game or mission

Kids learn fastest when it feels like play. Each child gets the format that motivates them most.

3

Skill drill

One specific focus per session — balance, safe stopping, turning, control. Hands-on guidance.

4

Progress check

Every kid leaves the session feeling proud. Levels are tracked — certificate + keychain after each.

Two clear age tracks

The right starting point for every kid

Younger kids start on flat surface at Birżebbuġa Main Church. Older kids progress through the 15 levels at the skatepark. Same coach, same philosophy — different venue per age.

Amine — founder and coach at KidMotion Malta
Meet your coach

Hi, I'm Amine.

I founded KidMotion Malta because I saw how rollerblading could transform kids — not just their skating, but the way they carry themselves at home and at school. My strength is reading kids: I can tell when they're nervous, distracted, or ready to level up.

I never skate during sessions, because I want to coach properly. I watch every kid, give real feedback, and hold beginners while they ride until they don't need me anymore.

"My job isn't to teach kids to skate. My job is to help kids realize they can."

Common questions

Quick answers for parents

Do you offer a trial?

Yes — €10 for a first session so your child (and you) can experience our approach with no commitment.

What if my child is nervous?

Most are. I literally hold beginners while they ride, then let go gradually as they build confidence. Patience is the whole job.

What gear do we need?

Rollerblades, knee + elbow pads (required), and a water bottle. A helmet is strongly recommended.
